Our approach

One starfish at a time

We believe meaningful change begins when a young person feels safe, seen and understood. Our small, structured sessions combine academic learning, life skills and emotional support. We work alongside families, schools, local authorities and other professionals to agree realistic goals, monitor progress and plan each learner’s next step.

Our settings

Calm, purposeful places to learn

Our settings across Hampshire provide small, welcoming environments where young people can feel safe, build trusted relationships and take manageable steps back into learning.

The Old School House

A calm, welcoming learning environment in the heart of Cadnam, supporting children and young people to rebuild confidence, reconnect with education and feel that they belong.

Eastleigh Football Club

A purposeful, relationship-first learning environment at Eastleigh Football Club, using the positive culture of sport to help children and young people reconnect with education.

Ringside Learning

Ringside Learning combines personalised education, SEMH support and boxing-inspired coaching to help young people build confidence, focus and positive momentum.

Let’s find the right next step

Working together around each young person

We work in partnership with families, schools, local authorities and other professionals, with shared goals, regular communication and coordinated support centred around each young person.

Support shaped around the individual

We support young people whose needs may include social, emotional and mental health difficulties, emotionally based school avoidance, persistent non-attendance, anxiety, trauma or attachment-related needs. We also support learners whose behaviour may communicate an unmet need, or who are at risk of suspension, exclusion or further disengagement from education.
