Dan Healy
Managing Director
Dan has 17 years of experience working with children and young people across specialist education and residential care. His career has included senior regional leadership, opening and developing new children’s homes, leading residential provision and working as a Social Care Regulatory Inspector for Ofsted.
He brings strong experience in safeguarding, regulation, quality assurance, safer recruitment and developing high-performing teams. As Managing Director, Dan is responsible for the safe, effective and sustainable development of Starfish AP.
Charlotte Russell
AP Lead – The Old School House
Lottie is a qualified primary teacher with experience across primary and secondary education, including roles in attendance, pastoral support and alternative provision leadership. She has worked with children and young people with a wide range of needs, developing an understanding of the barriers that can affect their engagement with school and learning.
Lottie leads our provision at The Old School House, bringing a warm, nurturing and creative approach. Her work centres on positive relationships and helping every child feel safe, understood and accepted. She believes that recognising small achievements helps young people rebuild confidence and discover what they are capable of.
Chloe Fox
Director of Education and Safeguarding
Chloe has nearly two decades of experience across safeguarding, pastoral leadership, attendance, inclusion and alternative provision. She is a qualified Designated Safeguarding Lead and has worked closely with children, families, schools and statutory agencies to remove barriers to education and improve engagement.
Chloe leads the development of our educational approach and safeguarding practice. Her work is grounded in relationships, belonging and the belief that children re-engage when they feel safe, known and understood.
Taylor Toon
AP Lead – Eastleigh FC
Taylor has worked in education since 2017, with experience spanning primary teaching, preschool management, animal therapy and welfare support. Most recently, she has worked as a teacher and lead in alternative provision, supporting young people with different needs and educational experiences.
Taylor leads our provision at Eastleigh FC. Her approach is grounded in mutual respect, empathy and trust, recognising that positive relationships are central to helping young people engage with learning. She is committed to creating an environment where each young person feels valued and supported, whatever their educational journey so far.
